Burnham Yacht Harbour

Situated on the north bank of the River Crouch, Burnham Yacht Harbour has all the facilities you would expect to find at a top class marina and is just a short walk from the restaurants, pubs and shops in Burnham on Crouch – home to a number of well-known Yacht Clubs. The marina is within the Dengie Marshes, a haven for wildfowl, and has 350 fully-serviced berths all with electricity and water, accessible 24/7 at all states of the tide. There’s a modern ablution block providing showers, laundry and disabled facilities, and a well-stocked chandlery. The on-site boatyard offers a 100 ton capacity slipway, 35 ton travel hoist, and a full range of shipwright, engineering and GRP services.
Clarke & Carter has one of its brokerage offices, here, and Burnham Yacht Harbour is also the base for two RNLI life boats.
The marina-owned Swallowtail bar and restaurant opens for lunch and dinner and offers a choice of international cuisine plus a fine selection of beers and wines. The balcony is a popular spot for sunny afternoons and sundowners, and a function room is available for private hire.
The marina is manned 24/7 – VHF Channel 80 or you can call the harbourmaster direct on 01621 786832. Take a look at the marina and find info on the entrance on the website: www.burnhamyachtharbour.co.uk
