Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club

Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club provides great leisure and competitive sailing at all states of the tide from the River Deben in Suffolk. The club has been the host of many large classes such as Fireflys, Dart 18s, 505s for their nationals and is well known throughout the catamaran sailing community.
No matter what you sail – whether it’s a windsurfer, kitesurfer, cruiser, mono-hull or multi-hull – the club will welcome you with open arms to a great sailing community. There is a thriving Youth Sailing section which caters for  younger members and a new 18-25 group for the more adventurous students.
The club site has two dinghy parks, outboard/tender storage, parking and two launching sites. The two-storey clubhouse has a classroom, meeting room, hot showers, large bar and a professionally catered galley.
Sailing takes place on the mouth of the River Deben giving a choice of water – out at sea or upriver. Launching is possible at any state of the tide either in front of the club or via the public slipway on the road.
Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club also has a diverse cruising section, with achts and motor boats of all types represented. A club cruising programme is advertised each year, to include trips of varying lengths along the East Coast while others are longer and take in destinations such as the Netherlands and London.
