Tidemill Yacht Harbour, Woodbridge

Tidemill Yacht Harbour is a long established development on the beautiful River Deben, a place where boats are moored safely while their owners enjoy the gentle unspoilt countryside and the thriving town of Woodbridge at their leisure.

Owner Richard Kember and his friendly team offer a wealth of experience and knowledge of all things nautical and there’s been significant investment in the marina in recent years – you’ll find all the essential boatyard facilities here, along with impressive washroom amenities and fully equipped workshops.

There’s no on-site bar or restaurant but Woodbridge itself is home to a fabulous selection of both, all within walking distance, as well as a supermarket and the town’s railway station.

The marina is protected by a sill, so boat owners should always refer to the latest tide tables and take note of the accurate tidal gauge on the sill at the entrance. Berthing instructions are available by contacting the Harbour Master on VHF Channel 80 prior to entry – there can be quite a scramble for radio attention, so do be patient if you're not answered immediately.

If you’re concerned about getting upriver in time after entering the Deben (or having enough water to exit the river after a stay here) then you might consider an overnight or few hours’ stay by the Ramsholt Arms… pick up a buoy and dinghy ashore for a delicious meal and locally-brewed beverage.
